Drug and alcohol risk management procedure
Following an extensive consultation process, Roads and Maritime has recently strengthened its approach to drug and alcohol risk management. This approach applies to all who work on Roads and Maritime sites and projects. This includes industry partners, contractors, sub-contractors and labour hire employees as well as Roads and Maritime staff.

That your company supports this strengthened procedure, by;
Downloading and assessing how your company will comply with the procedure.
Ensuring that all your employees, prior to entering or commencing work on a Roads and Maritime site or project, understand and are willing to comply with the “fitness for work” principles and definitions within the procedure.
Being proactive should there be a risk one of your employees may be non-compliant, by directing the employee to not attend the site or project, and contact the RMD Manager so suitable alternate arrangements can be made.
